A Day in the Life

As the Technician III, you will support the Syneture manufacturing team with the set-up, operation, troubleshooting and minor maintenance of packaging production equipment. The standard hours for this first shift role are 7:00am to 3:00pm Monday-Friday.

You will:

• Assess and train employees on proper operation of packaging equipment.
• Develop curriculum / training matrix for employees.
• Partnering with engineering on specific projects including equipment upgrades as necessary
• Participate in cross-functional technical team activities as required
• Perform a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
• Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
• Work from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
• Operate related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
• Perform calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
  
  

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience

• Ability to perform BCPS transactions
• Ability to participate in writing and/or editing JSA's and SOP's.
• Ability to cross-train to work in several different areas.
• Ability to work with chemicals and learn the proper, safe methods for handling hazardous waste.
• Ability write and understand the English language (bi-lingual a plus).
• Ability to work off hours as needed for troubleshooting, training on other shifts.
• 24/7 On call availability
• Willingness to travel
