Job Description:

As a Senior Associate in the Systems and Analytics team you will be responsible for working closely with functional teams and IT/BPT to provide user support and drive innovation and data simplification to our NPD project and portfolio management systems and tools.

Primary accountabilities will include the design and development of solutions, leveraging Microsoft Project Pro and Project Web App (PWA), to ensure project and portfolio management systems are up to date with the organization's strategy and efficiently incorporating the business needs.

You will also provides support to the Global and Regional Project Managers. This role requires the ability to understand business & user needs from a systems and analytics perspective and turn those needs into sustainable solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement enhancements focusing on simplification and efficiency of project management tools, data reporting, and analytics solutions


  • Manage System Access requests from users and support periodic reviews to validate access and remove unnecessary users


  • Support troubleshooting of workflow, system access and user interface issues, including investigation of issue and engagement with 3rd party developer and BPT


  • Serve as the subject matter expert on MS Project Pro


  • Support PM CoP workstreams (mainly the MS Project Pro)


  • Work closely with the rest of S&A team and 3rd party developers to support system changes


  • Develop and update training materials to incorporate enhancements and new tools deployed


  • Design and maintain data analytics reports, scorecards and dashboards, in Tableau


Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:


  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States


  • BA/BS degree in a Technical discipline


  • Minimum of two years experience with Data Management and Reporting systems and tools


Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:


  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft Project Pro


  • Knowledge of the New Product Development (NPD) process


  • Exposure to project management and metrics analysis


  • Demonstrated technical ability in Microsoft Project Web App (PWA), Tableau, Excel, MS SharePoint, MS Office 365, SQL


  • Ability to translate business needs into business requirements


  • Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong internal and external relationships at all levels


  • Solid organizational, planning and communication skills


  • Experience with Change Management


  • Ability to work independently, results focused, with a strong sense of personal ownership
