Ecommerce Photographer

Summary/Objective

The photographer for Marketing exhibits exemplary visual skills and creativity with an excellent understanding of photography and composition. His or her focus will be primarily of in-studio product photography for our websites, catalogs and multiple other marketing materials. Additional duties may include corporate headshots, event coverage and other requests as they arise.

Essential Functions

Photograph all types of product for eCommerce detail pages, website usage, sell sheets and email campaigns following established internal style guide and lighting requirements
1. Use Lightroom and Photoshop software to prepare images for outsourcing and ingestion into Cloudinary cloud-based image database


2. Capture corporate head shots in studio or at any of our various local sites


3. Ability to capture imagery at corporate events on-site and off


4. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment

Physical Demands

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time salary position, Monday through Friday from 8AM - 5PM

Travel

Travel would be minimal and could include shoot locations, plants, and any off-site events.

Preferred Education and Experience

1. Associates' Degree in Fine Art or Marketing with emphasis in Photography or related field of study


2. 1-3 years of photography experience, specifically understanding the nuances related to highlighting products and features in an eCommerce environment


3. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
