Job Description Summary

The Press Break Operator will support the production team by assembling parts, operate machinery, and punch or saw metal to produce a variety of parts to meet dimensional specifications. 

Essential Duties

• Operate and demonstrate knowledge of all machine functions in order to operate Trumpf TruBend Punch Press Machinery and other machinery used in production process


• Select proper punches and dies based on material thickness


• Interpret basic part drawings including plan, isometric and sectional views


• Determine if tools are undamaged and in a safe condition for use


• Work in fast-paced, team-oriented environment 


• Follow and understand all company policies - including lockout tag-out procedures, safety procedures, and quality standards


• Perform routine machine maintenance


• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Qualifications

Required Skills

• High school diploma/equivalent or at least one month of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience


• Basic knowledge of AutoCad preferred


• Ability to review and understand operator instructions


• Ability to use basic math


• Ability to communicate effectively with team members


• Ability to read a tape measure and caliper 
  
   

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis
