Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking a Manager of Project Engineering to drive team performance and critical sustaining engineering projects in our Modular Power Group in Lynnwood, WA.
This position is eligible for our Crane Flex Hybrid schedule which allows for the option of up to 2 days/week of work-from-home. Some conditions apply which will be discussed during the interview process. Full policy to be provided after hire.
The Manager of Project Engineering will be responsible for Sustaining Engineering, including budget, schedule, internal staffing, and project execution. Sustaining Engineering includes supporting failure investigations, productivity improvements, daily manufacturing needs, and special customer orders.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience: Requires 5 years’ experience in the related area as an individual contributor or related project engineering lead type position
Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of standard program management processes
Skills: Planning, Organizing, Analysis, Leadership, Interpersonal, Decision Making, Oral and Written Presentation Skills in English, Multi-Tasking, Project Management, Active Listening, Troubleshooting, Critical Thinking, Reading Comprehension, Complex Problem Solving, Active Learning, Systems Analysis, Judgment and Decision Making, Time Management, and Enthusiasm.
Education: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree related technical discipline.
Employment Eligibility Requirement:
This position requires access to controlled data or information and therefore only US persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
1 to 3 years supervisory experience
Aerospace/Space experience
Manufacturing Operations background a plus
Formal training in Program and/or Program Managemen (PMI or equivalent)
