Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

Assure allroutes are filled and provide timely instructions and responses to requests forinformation throughout the day from both drivers and customers.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Providescustomer support by responding to questions and concerns regarding deliveriesincluding no shows, cancellations and scheduled deliveries. Respond to customerinquiries and needs in a timely manner.


• Usecomputer system to retrieve schedule and asset information. Use referencematerial to quickly and accurately determine the best method to assign driverresources and routes striving for maximum efficiency and utilization whilereducing mileage when possible.


• Update,prepare, and dispense the daily route schedule. Monitor and document routemanifests and deliveries throughout the day adjusting for changes as needed.Make and schedule appointments with customers that require deliveryappointments. Route drivers according to their skill set and available DOTmandated Hours of Service regulations.


• Completea variety of daily reports and clerical duties. Ensure correct departments haveall necessary paperwork for on time delivery departure.

Education

• HighSchool Diploma

• 2years' experiences with handling inbound/outbound call taking, schedulingand/or administrative work.
