As our Inside Sales Manager, you will manage a team of Inside Sales Representatives and provide the Inside Sales group with current information on market changes, pricing trends, mill, product and equipment information and enhancements, mill deliveries and any other relative information.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Assist the Inside Sales group with any potential issues that may arise in the quoting, mill, processing or delivery concerns. Encourage a proactive approach.

  • Monitor daily sales, shipments, pick-ups, profitability, inventory (in and out) and forecasts.

  • Develop and assist inside and outside sales with prospecting.

  • Work closely with Inside Sales group to manage customer contracts, inventory for the contracts and aged material.

  • Manage the performance of the group through consistent feedback, support, guidance, nurturing, motivation and discipline if needed.

  • Work closely with purchasing, the plant and traffic.  Be the liaison between the departments.

  • Be a vital member of the safety and quality team.

  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • College or University education in Business or other relevant area preferred.

  • Sales management experience preferred.

  • Metal sales experience preferred

  • Effective time management skills, ability to prioritize, able to work as a member of a team.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Comfortable working with computers and software like excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook .

  • Strong customer service mentality and relationship building abilities.

  • Ability to make quick, effective, and sound business decisions.

  • Able to travel as required.
