If you answered yes to any of those questions, there may be a role for you on the Prudential Advisors Compensation and Planning and Analysis team to join a fast-paced growing team working on interesting compensation-related projects.  This role is responsible for the design and implementation of variable sales compensation programs that help Advisors grow and expand their practices.  In partnership with Senior Leaders, including Pru Advisors Territory and Field Leaders, we monitor the effectiveness of our existing compensation plans and recommend changes to ensure alignment with industry trends, the evolution of our business and organizational objectives, specifically recruiting new advisors, retaining existing advisors and profitable growth of our business while caring for our clients’ experience.

This position is part of the Compensation and Planning and Analysis team and will support Financial Advisor and Field Leadership compensation programs.  This support includes analysis of compensation plan results, development of rules and procedures that aid in resolving complex compensation or regulatory issues, and development of compensation administrative guides and tools and resources that help drive growth.

Description & Responsibilities:


  • Design, implement and administer sales compensation programs and initiatives which are meant to enhance the advisor or customer experience.

  • Provide advice and guidance to Prudential Advisors Field Leadership teams and individual advisors; research and analyze complex compensation inquiries or policy interpretations.

  • Analyze quarterly field management and advisor compensation results to identify trends or concerns.

  • Create and maintain administrative guides for product compensation, field leadership compensation programs, and financial advisor compensation programs.

  • Develop and manage relationships across businesses, both within and outside of Prudential Advisors.

  • Collaborate with internal control partners to ensure adherence to regulatory processes, risk controls, and ongoing monitoring of compensation plans.

  • Focus on process improvement, automating processes and reducing exceptions.

Qualifications:


  • Strong financial, analytical, and technical skills

  • Conceptual thinking and the ability to problem solve.

  • Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with colleagues of all levels, including senior leaders.

  • Self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Prior experience with advisor compensation plans and/or financial modeling and analytics

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to set plans and prioritize.

  • Ability to work under pressure and time constraints, managing multiple deliverables at a time.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Access, Outlook, Word & PowerPoint, etc) required. 

  • Preferred knowledge of federal, state and local regulations and compliance requirements related to Advisor compensation.

  • 3-5 years of experience supporting a sales organization preferred.

  • College degree preferred.


*Note: Prudential is required by Colorado law to include the salary range for this role when hiring a Colorado resident. Salary range specific to Colorado: $82,300-111,300 + discretionary incentive bonus + benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
