Job Description:

Major Responsibilities



  • Support the Sales team in cross reference to Essendant products

  • Collaborate and develop item recommendations specific for each customer based on supplier and equivalency preferences

  •   Work in multiple databases and tools to complete tasks. Identify areas of opportunity to improve accuracy and efficiency.

  • Complete tasks based on timelines mutually agreed upon by the requestor and the Sales Support Coordinator to meet customer expectations.

  • Provide product support for Essendant Brands to Resellers, End-Consumers, and Sales Team via Email and Phone interactions.

  • Process Essendant Brand warranty claims, sample requests, and troubleshoot product issues for all Own Brand lines.

  • Coordinate 3rd Party Contract maintenance utilizing Essendant’s pricing dashboard and reporting tools

  • Provide pricing quotes to our Federal dealers using quoting tools

  • Maintains log of current and past requests.

  • Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required

  • Work efficiently within a remote team environment

 


 


Skills/Knowledge Required


 



  • Basic proficiency in Windows PC as well as the Internet is required (CT Suite/Avaya a plus)

  • Intermediate Excel skills necessary to manipulate data (V-lookup, formulas, sort, filter)

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Strong time management and organizational skills required.

  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.

 


Education and Experience



  • Associate degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • Minimum 2 years related experience preferably in a Customer Care or Sales capacity
