Position Title: Associate Detailer, Towers & Small Cell - 3N 


 


Position Summary


The Associate Detailer will assist in development of telecommunication designs and layouts in a team environment for the creation and modification of drawing packages.


 


Essential Job Functions



  • Utilize resources and references, to accurately create, modify, and review deliverables in accordance with specifications.

  • Collaborate with customers, cross-functional partners, and design team/engineers to solve design issues that may arise.

  • Drive continued development of technical aptitude, software knowledge, and customer configurations.

  • Support Engineering and Operations department projects as assigned.

  • Interpret redlines and sketches for incorporation into deliverables.

  • Support the development and execution of training materials and technical documentation.

  • Identify and propose solutions for process improvement.

 


Education/Certifications



  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Associates degree, preferably in Computer Aided Drafting or equivalent work experience.

 


Experience/Minimum Requirements



  • Must be proficient in AutoCAD.

  • One (1)+ year working in Engineering/Design Department.

  • Demonstrated propensity toward a detailed and technical aptitude; through education, past experience, or in direction of desired growth.

 


Other Skills/Abilities



  • Disciplined self-starter.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Data management skills.

  • 3D modeling experience a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and customer service skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite and the ability to learn specialized system tools.

  • Familiarity with Quality Assurance methods and practices.

  • Ability to comprehend survey and construction drawings.

  • Knowledge of wireless communications a plus.

 


Organizational Relationship


Reports to: Supervisor and/or Manager


Working Conditions: Works in normal office setting 95% of the time, may travel to construction sites with exposure to heavy equipment.
