About this position:
Senior Financial Consultants on the Personal Investor team partner with prospects and existing retail clients with the goal to (drive Net New Flows or Retain assets on behalf of the firm. This associate builds relationships with individual investors to better understand ( their broader investment needs , potential 401k distribution options, and the potential for consolidation or retention, resulting in high client satisfaction as well and/or acquisition and retention of assets and relationships to the firm.
Role Summary:
In this role, the individual will oversee assigned standard client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, swift response to client needs, efficient problem resolution, contract and operational compliance, and risk mitigation. Identify account growth opportunities and promotes these to assigned clients. Responsible for moderately sized or less complex relationships, often a single product/service. May provide guidance to less experienced professionals and receive guidance from more experienced professionals
Responsibilities:
•Proactively engages in consultative conversations with retail clients, listens for cues during meetings on client needs and ensures ( continued client satisfaction and retention. With some guidance, advises clients on best practices, organizational solutions, and regulatory changes.
•Communicates recommended products and services to assigned clients during meetings and identifies cross-sell opportunities for new services for assigned clients. May refer complex or specialized sales opportunities to other team members.
•Manages standard client projects and contributes to the successful execution of client initiatives. Tracks and reports on client metrics.
•Keeps abreast of client relationship activity occurring throughout the firm. Liaises with relevant business contacts (internally and externally) to coordinate service to the client. Escalates relevant issues to senior team members or management.
•Conducts analyses of data and market trends to keep up to date with client relationship performance. Manages client inquiries and resolves problems within scope of knowledge.
•Conducts market and industry research aligned with clients, applicable regulatory requirements, industry trends, and competitor services/offerings.
Qualifications:
Required:
•Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
•2+ years of total relevant work experience
•FINRA Series 7
•FINRA Series 66
Preferred:
•3+ years of related experience
•Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) (obtained within 180 days of hire)
Minimum Salary (USD) starts at:
66000
