POSITION SUMMARY

Essential Functions Statement(s)

Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports. Responsibilities also include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. Reports organization's finances to management, and offers suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.

• Perform Month End Closing


• Coordinate all Functions and Individuals in Relationship to Closing


• Ensure the Accuracy of all Automatic and Manual Journal Entries


• Analyze the Effects of Transactions upon Account Relationships


• Prepare Balance Sheets, Profit and Loss Statements, and other Financial Reports


• Input Financial Data into the NTN USA and NTN Japan Systems


• Interprets Accounting Records, Reports, and Statements


• Ensures the Adequacy of the Accounting System as the Basis for Reporting to Management and Recommends Improvements, Adaptations, or Revisions in the Accounting System and Procedures


• Maintain the Additions Fixed Assets


• Maintain FAS Capital Asset System


• Maintain the Solarsoft Project Numbers


• Tag Capital Asset additions


• Reconcile the Construction-in-Progress and Fixed Asset Balances in the General Ledger Accounts


• Prepare Fixed Asset Management Reports


• Maintains Solarsoft Standard Cost System


• Maintain Item Masters, Routers and Bills-of-Material


• Performs New Product Costs Calculations


• Analyze Product Costs to Ensure Accuracy

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

Experience: 0-5 years in a manufacturing environment

Computer Skills: JD Edwards preferred, MS Office
