Position Description:
Reporting to the Vice President, you will provide strategic and business leadership in global Shared Services, Capital Markets, Cash Management, M&A and Corporate Finance activities. You will be a core member of Treasury Leadership team and a key strategic partner to the Treasurer and Senior Management team on all Treasury-related matters. The position has three direct reports that oversee the Shared Services and Cash Management teams.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Provide strategic and business leadership to continue the global expansion of AMETEK’s Financial Shared Services Centers

• Partner with the Business/Regional Controllers, Finance, Procurement and IT to establish procedures and to standardize/automate transactional processing

• Support the Treasury and Capital Market, Cash Management, Corporate Finance, Foreign Exchange and Pension issues

• Facilitate the issuance of new public and private debt and equity financing transactions, as appropriate

• Assist in financial modeling and analysis of business/M&A scenarios, corporate financing alternatives, working capital and strategic opportunities

• Manage compliance and refinancing activities related to the company’s internal and external debt arrangements

• Provide effective and timely Treasury and Shared Services reporting to senior management, businesses, and functions, defining appropriate metrics to assess performance

Position Requirements:
• BA/BS degree; major in finance, accounting, and/or economics
• MBA or relevant MS degree preferred
• 7 to 10 years of Treasury experience in a significant public company ($2.0B+ market cap)
• Previous experience in managing or driving transformation and continuous improvement for a Financial Shared Services Center
• Global perspective – uses a global lens and takes a broad view when approaching issues.
• Exceptional leadership skills with a bias for team development, coaching, and mentoring.
• Ability to query ERP/business systems and synthesize/draw conclusions from large amounts of raw data
• Strong communicator with ability to present complex concepts, recommendations and analyses to senior management in a clear, concise and actionable manner
