Your Responsibilities

John Deere is currently hiring an Enterprise Reliability Data Engineerfor the Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG) based in Urbandale, IA, but full remote.

As an Enterprise Reliability TestEngineer for the John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG), you will work to refine and expand a data aggregation solution that will ultimately reimagine how John Deere connects data streams across global processes. This solution will affect how reliability data is looked at, and will ultimately impact how machine learning is viewed across the company.

Additionally,you will....

• Develop and maintain Reliability Engineering applications
• Effectively communicate with teams and manage customer needs
• Develop analysis and data management solutions for product failure data
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture the requirements and develop and implement technical solutionsThis role requires coordination with multiple teams, so strong communication skills and technical skills are very important

What Skills You Need

• 1-3 years of experience with RorPython
• 1-3 Years of experience with relational SQL databases
• 1-3 years of experience planning, designing, and building complex web sites and applications

What Makes You Stand Out

• 1-3 years of experience with Spark or Scala
• Familiarity with AWS S3, AWS RDS, Databricks, & API's
• Ability to write efficient, scalable Python
• Familiarity with Spring or Node.JS frameworks
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Working with key stakeholders to identify needs and solutions
• Experience with Agile methodology

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent Engineering degree
