Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), the Manager of Rehab Services will lead a department of skilled Rehabilitation specialists. Supporting the Manager are department leads who focus on Physical Therapy, Occupational / Orthopedic Therapy, and Speech Therapy. The Physical Therapy and Rehab Services Manager’s dynamic, interactive, and skilled team will work closely with patient care technicians, physicians, nurses, and respiratory therapists throughout the hospital on a daily basis.

The Manager of Rehab Services will lead a department that sees a wide array of patient types. This department sees patients in need of different kinds of rehabilitation, from walking after an accident to speaking after a stroke. The skilled professionals here always have the patients care in mind. Working with such a supportive team, this is a great opportunity for a supervisor / coordinator to step into a manager role.

Using a team-based approach, the Manager of Rehab Services will oversee both clinical and administrative activities for the department. This person will actively manage the staffing and labor needs of the department, effectively utilizing all available staff resources to manifest a spirit of cooperation, allowing for patients to receive the best care possible. The Manager will take a progressive stance on educating and mentoring the professionals in this crucial department. The Manager will also lead administrative actions in the department, such as ensuring staff meet regulatory requirements for licensure and certifications. Working closely with Finance and Operations Leaders, the Manager will also be responsible for the budget and Rehabilitation department’s financial goals.
