Job Description:

Wilco is seeking a Professional Transportation Dispatcher to deliver on our mission of providing superior customer service to our customers while focusing on safety and efficiency. This is a full time and fully benefited position.

Starting pay range is $26.78/hr. - $29.93/hr. depending on experience and qualifications

Duties include:

• Provide excellent customer service


• Effectively communicate dispatch information with drivers in a timely and accurate manner


• Ensuring timely pickup and delivery of freight to meet customer timelines


• Collaborate with customers, distribution, maintenance and management


• Ensure compliance to all FMCSA. DOT, ODOT, WSDOT rules and regulations


• Communicate professionally, clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing


• Effectively operate a computer (email, MS Word, MS Excel, etc.)

Preferred experience includes:

• Strong working knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, ODOT, WSDOT laws, rules, regulations, etc.


• Working knowledge of tractor trailer truck operations and associated equipment


• Dispatching a medium sized tractor trailer fleet


• Ability to observe situations analytically and objectively


• Attention to detail, situational awareness and organization


• Load planning


• Route optimization
