This full-time position will be responsible for implementing strategic IT improvement projects to assist MIC in accomplishing its strategic objectives. In order to be successful at this role, the Business Analyst will need to work with the various departments and operations team at MIC, and IT resources at MIC's parent company, JB Poindexter, to successfully identify, project manage and implement said projects. The Analyst will report to the CFO.
Key objectives for this role:
- Proactive identification of strategic IT improvement projects by working with MIC team members to identify strategic IT improvement projects
- Project management of projects from cradle to grave
Responsibilities include:
- Participate in cross-functional team initiatives and strategy sessions
- Support organizational and operational needs, working relentlessly to respond to team members' IT improvement project needs with a sense of urgency relative to the business need
- Lead the organization in maximizing the usage of ERP systems
- Drive cost-saving initiatives throughout the organization, including a focus on leveraging team member efficiency and quality through innovative IT solutions.
- Manage IT improvement projects
Skill Required:
- Bachelor's degree in business or computer science with 5 year of experience
- ERP system experience and knowledge, JD Edwards (JDE) and ReportsNow a plus
- Experience with full project lifecycle, requirement analysis, documentation, development, testing, support, and project management
- Minimum five years of experience
- Ability to solve complex problems - hardware, software, business process
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization
- Highly developed interpersonal, oral, and written communication, negotiation, facilitation skills with a commitment to internal/external customer responsiveness
- Interact with external suppliers and technology vendors
- Exposure to any of the following is a plus: Microsoft 365, Salesforce or a CRM equivalent, MS Teams, Engineering, and design programs, MS SQL or different relational DB experience, any programming or software development experience
