Job Description:

Fargo Trailer Center a subsidiary of Wallwork Inc. is currently hiring for a full-time Building Maintenance/Trailer Delivery & Pickup position to join our team.  M-F 8am-5pm (Pay-$13-$16/hr.)

The responsibilities for performing a wide variety of custodial and maintenance duties to provide a clean, orderly, and safe environment; delivering and picking up trailers to our customers; adhere to company-wide safety standards, work well within a team, and maintain regular attendance.                                                                                                                                                  

This position requires an H.S. diploma or equivalent; valid and clear driver's license; commercial driver's license (CDL); ability to lift up to 75 pounds; ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report required.

QUALIFICATIONS (minimum requirements)

 Education and/or years’ experience required:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.


• Valid and clear driver’s license


• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

 Preferred/Required Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information


• Ability to drive pay loader preferred


• Able to operate both automatic and manual transmissions


• Must have the ability to read and comprehend instructions and information


• Good judgment and the ability to use general cleaning equipment safely


• Excellent customer service and communication skills

 Supervision of others/decision making aptitude (if applicable):

• No supervisory responsibilities required with this position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITES

• Performs work according to standard procedure and by buildings operational standard.


• Cleans shops, rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and service drive.


• Uses brooms, mops, and floor equipment to sweep, mop, and clean floors.


• Participate in general cleaning.


• Clean tool boxes & tool rooms and tire room.


• Assist trailer technicians as needed.


• Performs general routine electric repairs such as changing light bulbs or fluorescent bulbs.


• General Lot maintenance such as trim bushes/remove weeds, snow removal, pick up trash, etc.


• Install items on trucks and trailers such as mud flaps, safety kits, lug nut covers, hubcaps, etc.


• Uses power equipment such as pressure washer, floor scrubber, power hand tools, and power tools in making minor maintenance repairs and maintaining grounds, and walkways.


• Required to pick up and deliver trailers to/from customer locations.


• General lot maintenance such as trim bushes/remove weeds.


• Performs Wallwork Inc.-wide duties as requested by the designated supervisor.


• Adhere to work schedule and maintain regular attendance.
