Job Description:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assemble standard equipment and products under general supervision and in accordance with standard operating procedures.


• Read, interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, schematics, engineering drawings, specifications, bill of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.


• Perform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards.


• Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.


• Perform all necessary documentation in a timely manner.


• Confer with supervisor regarding quality or procedure problems.


• Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.


• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.


• Maintain a clean and safe work area.


• Working with High Voltage Electronics. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 2 years in manufacturing environment.


• Basic knowledge of electrical assembly.


• 1 year in battery, electrical, or mechanical production.


• High Voltage Certification.


• Forklift Operator.


• Experience with Lean Manufacturing.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Typical physical requirements for this role may include the following:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer or small mechanical parts.


• Prolonged periods of standing at an assembly line and operating the line.


• May be asked to lift up to 50 lbs. at times.


• Frequently work near moving mechanical parts.


• Exposed to quiet to medium noise levels in a manufacturing environment.


• Exposure to high voltage systems.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Lean manufacturing flow line; work outside as well as in shop environment; shop environment may not have air conditioning.
