MEI produces cab comfort products for locomotives. We are ISO9001 certified and firmly committed to continually providing consistently high levels of quality and reliability, competitive products, to meet or exceed Wabtec customer expectations in a timely manner, and continually improving the effectiveness of the quality management system. The CSR reports directly to the Sales Manager. The Sales team ensures compliance with Wabtec's quality standards, while working efficiently and effectively within a lean environment, and is instrumental in maintaining a level of customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Establish-maintain positive and productive working relationships with customers.
Maintain customer: data base, contacts, correspondence records, reports, and projects.
Provide accurate and timely order status updates to customers and production.
Resolve customer inquiries, problems, and complaints regarding products and services.
Process order entry, RMA, customer change orders, and export documentation.
Provide inside support to the sales representatives and team.
Ensures a safe and healthy work environment by following company standards and procedures.
Adheres to the Wabtec Code of Conduct.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications : (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Possess basic math skills.
Requires a basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Oracle.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work effectively unsupervised.
Strategic and creative thinking to analyze issues that may arise and create solutions.
Ability to respond positively to feedback and implement change in process and procedures as needed.
Basic math skills
Utilize software, such as Oracle, and various website-based programs customer (supplier) portals.

Employee is regularly required to:
Read, write, and communicate in English.
Sit 6 hours at a time, with minimal breaks.
Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds independently or up to 25 pounds with assistance.
Vision abilities include close and distance vision, color distinction, and observe small handwriting, labels, and components.
Employee is required to wear hearing protection in designated areas.
The Position requires the employee to be on-site during scheduled shift to perform daily duties and responsibilities.
Requires daily face-to-face interaction and communication with employees on production line and management.

The employee will normally work in a controlled office environment and occasionally on the production shop floor that does not have controlled temperatures and will vary based on weather conditions. May occasionally be exposed to fumes and minimal to moderate noise.
