OVERVIEW

The National Hospital Services Financial Analyst will work as part of a highly strategic and crucial team that supports DaVita's in-patient dialysis patients and field operations nationwide. This individual is a key member of the team that is responsible for all aspects of the Hospital Services business's financial planning, analysis, and business development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own the preparation of financial results and analyze variance to budget, tracking to forecast, etc. on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis


• Develop and prepare detailed analyses of key operational data to measure the ongoing performance of the business


• Support the maintenance & refinement of pricing models, and assist with other business development projects


• Collaborate with teammates in creating efficiencies & standardization with reporting processes


• Assist with the annual budgeting process and related quality control reports to help ensure accuracy throughout the planning process


• Assist finance leaders and other key stakeholders of the broader Hospital Services organization in determining key benchmarking metrics in alignment with strategic goals on an annual basis


• Assist field teammates in navigating reporting tools and interpreting analyses to drive business results


• Other ad hoc financial & operational projects/analyses as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree, quantitative disciplines preferred


• Previous experience in finance, consulting, or relevant business analytics role preferred


• Team-player able to work collaboratively within Finance and alongside our stakeholders


• Strong work ethic with a "get stuff done" attitude


• Experience with financial/operational Excel modeling including the ability to combine data from multiple sources to enable moderately complex analyses


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint


• Strong communication skills to share recommendations to team leaders and key stakeholders through verbal and written presentations


• Interest in data analytics and in identifying and creating efficiency in reporting processes


• Experience with Hyperion Essbase, Microsoft SQL, Anaplan, and Tableau a plus

Salary/ Wage Range

$51,400.00 to $75,500.00

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
