Royal has an exciting NEW opportunity for our growing Corporate Risk and Compliance team!  Our Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Specialist assists in the development and implementation of all aspects of the BSA program to ensure compliance with the requirements of the BSA, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC), and USA PATRIOT Act. Through the direction of the BSA Officer, this role performs the daily responsibilities of the BSA program to ensure the credit union remains compliant, including reviewing, analyzing, submitting, and tracking information using industry standards and regulatory guidance. In addition, they will review and recommend improvements to the program’s policies, procedures, risk assessments, and disclosures, ensuring they contain the necessary components as outlined in regulatory guidance and are effective for the credit union.

Work Location Schedule:

This is a full-time, position generally working Monday – Friday 8 AM – 5 PM with additional evening and weekend hours as needed.  The office location is flexible in either Royal’s metro market or Corporate Office in Eau Claire, WI.  The position is also eligible to work remote if certain criteria are met.

Required Education/Experience/Skills:

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience required.
  


• 
  Minimum of 3 years working in a financial institution required.
  


• 
  Minimum of 1 year of BSA program experience required.
  


• 
  Strong working knowledge of all BSA-related regulations and requirements required.
  


• 
  Certification or ability to become certified in a BSA-related designation required (BSACS, ACAMS, etc).
  


• 
  Working knowledge of financial institution operations, practices and processes required.
  


• 
  Communicate and live RCU's core purpose and values, these define and drive our organizational culture.
