Inmar’s Corporate Communications team is searching for a multi-talented Communications & Events Associate to join us in our mission to promote a positive corporate culture, attract and retain top talent, and enhance the Inmar employer brand through strategies, programs, and events – both virtual and in-person – that drive associate and community engagement.

This high-visibility position reports directly to the Manager, Employer Brand Experience, and is located in our state-of-the-art headquarters in Winston-Salem, NC.
Duties & Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and direct associate engagement events at all Inmar locations, both virtual and in-person
Plan, organize, and direct internal and external events and meetings
Create and maintain an internal events calendar
Coordinate and oversee Inmar’s participation in community events
Oversee and track the team’s budget
Track and report on key performance metrics
Recruit and coordinate volunteers from throughout the company to assist in event preparation and execution
Field and coordinate requests from internal, associate-led groups to facilitate activities
Field and coordinate requests from external groups
Author and publish content for corporate intranet
Author and publish content for corporate website and social media
Assist with updates to digital displays at multiple locations
Assist with team projects, some unrelated to assigned duties, as needed
Serve as backup to communication team’s graphic designer/photographer / videographer as needed
Maintain inventory of Inmar-branded items for use at promotional and recruiting events
Serve as a key contributor to the cross-functional recruitment marketing team, including the development of marketing materials (flyers, posters, job descriptions) for recruiting
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree preferred (preferably in communications, marketing, or a related field)
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an employee engagement, communications or marketing role
Proficient technical skills related to content creation, writing and editing, and graphic design
Proficient in Google G Suite (Docs, Sheets, and Slides) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite design applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent
Experience with videography and video production using Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects is a significant plus
Experience using task- and project-management software (ex: Asana)
Experience with photography and/or videography is a significant plus
Project management skills are a significant plus
Candidate must be fluent in English - bilingual Spanish is a plus
