What you will do

From overseeing sales personnel to setting sales targets, the primary role of Inside Sales Managers is to ensure the success of a company’s sales department. Inside Sales Managers hire, train and manage the professional development of an inside sales team, which consists of individuals who conduct sales via phones or the Internet. They set sales goals, track sales, produce sales reports, complete monthly forecasting and set department budgets. Inside Sales Managers also conduct analyses to determine prospective clients and develop relationships with existing clients. This is a U.S. based remote position.

How you will do it


  • Supervise, coach, and direct activities based on daily metrics requirements

  • Perform “side by side” coaching sessions using established techniques and technology

  • Monitor outbound customer calls and ensure that the team is following established processes

  • Demonstrate and drive effective utilization of all appropriate systems for information reporting

  • Create reports for measuring progress of the team and program progress and outcomes

  • Utilizing SFDC to provide accurate monthly forecasts and lead generation activities

  • Assist and provide feedback with monthly performance reviews

  • Coach/mentor and train staff on effective lead generation as well as effective role play

  • Skilled one on one and team communicator

  • Explains “why” so individuals understand how they are connected to the “big mission”

  • Energetic, fun – loving and an all- round infectious personality


  • Proven history of getting and improving results through others

  • Courageous with issues of change, ambiguity and conflict resolution

  • Demonstrate a professional, personable demeanor in order to build team camaraderie and develop external business relationships

  • Promote - able with a desire to excel and grow in position

What we look for


  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred a plus but experience and skills heavily considered

  • Experience leading a team in an inside sales and customer retention environment

  • Two years or more of experience working inside sales.

  • 3+ years’ experience working in a sales position(s) with increasing responsibilities or successive promotions.

  • Previous management experience

  • Strong PC skills - PowerPoint, Excel, Word, web-based programs, Salesforce.com

  • Professional communication skills through phone calls, emails, online details, etc.
