Staff Pharmacist Manager - Fulfillment - Express Scripts (Whitestown, IN) at Cigna in Whitestown, Indiana

Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

Manages the day-to-day operations of a fulfillment pharmacy including pharmacy operations, drug warehouse / inventory, and supplies. Plans, coordinates, directs and participates in all activities related to the quality, dispensing, delivery, receipt and handling of medications within corporate and regulatory guidelines. Works with the pharmacy management to develop policies, procedures, and the business plan for the area. Oversite of production levels and service standards. Oversite of hiring, training, and evaluation of staff in collaboration with Operations Manager. Provides expert content/professional leadership on complex assignments/projects. Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders.

Shift for this position will be: Sunday - Thursday 2:00pm - 10:30pm EST

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 years relevant experience preferred


• Demonstrated initiative with quality, commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines


• Strong analytical capabilities and organizational skills


• Experience in volume and budget forecasting

Experience in engagement initiatives and activities, performance coaching, and participation within cross-functional teams.

• Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues.


• Good oral and written communication skills.


• Strong focus on customer service, quality and accuracy.


• Ability to adapt in a changing environment.


• Ability to work a flexible schedule, and assist staff for peak volume times.


• Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word


• 
  

• Graduate of ACPE Accreditation School of Pharmacy with a B.S. Pharmacy or Pharm.D., degree


• Current Indiana pharmacist license in good standing


• Willingness to obtain out-of-state pharmacy licenses if needed
