POSITION SUMMARY

Evernorth is seeking a hands-on Creative Director with a copywriting background to join our internal creative team, reporting directly to the Executive Creative Director. You will lead creative work into bold new territories without blinking, managing multiple projects across all dimensions of our Evernorth business (D2C, B2B, B2B2C). To do this, you will need to be a master of verbal storytelling that knows how to bring a strategy to life through breakthrough creative ideas. All of this with a goal of delivering meaningful brand experiences for Evernorth customers, clients, brokers and partners.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• You will be responsible for setting creative vision and translating rational business strategies into highly compelling and effective creative strategies


• Deliver insight-driven creative concepts and apply hands-on creative direction to deliver flawless execution across all channels with an equal aptitude for digital and traditional media


• Provide guidance and inspiration to unlock the potential of all team members


• Foster an environment of collaboration, partnering with a wide range of disciplines to deliver great work


• Demonstrate a curiosity to stay on top of emerging trends, while keeping the pulse of advertising industry shifts and best practice


• Represent the internal agency as a client-facing member of the project team with an ability to inspire peers and executives alike with charismatic and persuasive presentation of ideas


• Quickly become an expert with regard to Evernorth's robust offering of health services


• Act as a steward of the Evernorth brand, responsible for maintaining consistency of voice and visual identity across all experiences


• Be a gate-keeper for quality control of creative, partnering with account and project management teams to ensure creative is on brief, on time and on budget

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Bachelor's degree in advertising, writing or communications


• 10+ years of experience in an advertising agency or highly strategic in-house agency


• A world-class portfolio that demonstrates strategic and conceptual creative work with flawless copywriting across all media (must include examples of CRM, email, digital, print, video and experiential work)


• An expert level understanding of how an idea can be brought to life across all channels-knowledge of best practice for digital and traditional channels is a must


• Executive presence with an aptitude for earning trust and developing meaningful relationships


• Impeccable verbal aesthetic with a thoughtful eye for the details


• A positive attitude with a "get-stuff-done" mindset

• This role is WAH/Flex which allows most work to be performed at home. Employees must be fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
