Brief Description • Join the development team for Infinera's next generation digital coherent optical systems , and take on critical challenges in module, and system level mechanical test fixture designs to enable the next generation multi - terabit optical fiber transmission systems for data center, metro, and long - haul markets
Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities • Update per red-lined drawings CAD models of test equipment racks and tooling fixtures • Revise electrical wiring diagrams using Microsoft Visio • Interface with Engineers and construction technicians to ensure final drawings accurately reflect build • Release updated drawings in Agile
Education & Experience Necessary for Success: • 1-3 years experience in mechanical drafting of parts and assemblies • 3D CAD software experience required • C reo / Windchill experience preferred but not required • Agile experience preferred not required. • F amiliar with Microsoft Office software • D emonstrate an eagerness to learn and be able to work in a fast - pace d environment. • Highly motivated team player adept at cross-functional efforts and keen on closing gaps in the design and documentation of completed projects . Ability to handle multiple projects in parallel . • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Careful attention to detail including thorough documentation of mechanical designs and any applicable assembly instructions Infinera is the global supplier of innovative networking solutions.
