Summary of Duties:
Under general supervision, the HR Assistant performs a variety of duties in support of Human Resource Services - Records. This project appointment will assist with increased workload due to Workday implementation. Apply established human resource guidelines, rules, policies and procedures to classified, exempt and/or academic processes for personnel records and files. Participate in training of WorkDay systems. Review, develop and maintain accurate records and correspondence. Assist clients, maintain electronic and paper files, produce reports, gather and organize documentation, and collect data and formulate results. Maintain and ensure a confidential environment at all times.
This recruitment may be used to fill multiple positions within the department.This is a project position. One position is expected to end on June 30, 2022 and the other positions are expected to end 6 months after hire date. Renewal is dependent on the need for extension to complete the project.
Required Qualifications:
Three years of office experience including at least six months of experience in a human resource or related setting OR equivalent education/experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent numerical skills.
Experience preparing position control forms and documents.
Experience in higher education.
