Mammography Technologist 40 hours/week at Vancouver Clinic in Vancouver, Washington

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Mammography Tech!
The schedule for this position will be 8-hr days and a rotating every-other week schedule: M-F / Tu-Sat. Locations served will be Salmon Creek, Columbia Tech Center, and 87th Ave.

Will provide diagnostic studies, treatment and support to patients by performing and/or specific diagnostic tests as ordered by providers. Has full knowledge of the indications, contraindications and hazards associated with procedures provided. Assures accuracy of test results, reports and equipment by having a thorough understanding of tests and techniques. Maintains equipment in good working order.

EDUCATION AND SKILLS

• Graduate of an ARRT accredited school of radiology required.


• Current Washington State Radiologic license required.


• Current ARRT registered Mammography Technologist.


• One year mammography experience preferred.


• Digital mammography experienced required.


• Excellent written and oral communication skills.


• Ability to interact effectively with patients, co-workers and physicians in pressure situations while maintaining tact and diplomacy.


• Ability to work independently while functioning as a team member.


• Ability to organize and prioritize workflow independently.


• American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification.
