The BSA Emergency Department proudly serves a multi-state area of the Texas Panhandle, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Colorado and Kansas. The BSA ED averages 5,250 patients per month that are treated by a by a team that consist of Board Certified Emergency physicians and a highly competent compassionate ED staff. The Registered Nurse is accountable for the health status and health needs of their patients based upon interpretation of health data and preventative health practices in collaboration with the patients and the interdisciplinary healthcare team members. Education/Licensures/Certifications: Current Texas RN license CPR certified from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required ACLS within 12-months of hire required PALS or ENPC within 12-months of hire required TNCC within 12-months of hire preferred Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Previous staff nursing experience desired; Emergency RN staff nursing experience preferred Assess, plan, evaluates, documents total nursing process Organized, self-motivated with exceptional follow-through skills Computer skills necessary; EMR Epic documentation Multi-task constantly and tolerate multiple interruptions Clear and effective communication with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals Compassionate customer service skills Committed to patient and family satisfaction
