Responsible for leading the development and implementation of programs and strategies by identifying insights that enhance business decision making capability. This includes developing or changing workflows and implementing process improvements to enhance organizational products, programs and service to our customers.
Department Summary / Preferences:
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following:
Writing SQL and working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or Postgres.
Data Analytics, Trend Reporting, Forecasting, Anomaly Detection.
An understanding of medical claims, claim forms, and medical coding.
An understanding of hospital contracting and hospital reimbursement.
An understanding of Medical Economics, hospital finance, Hospital Medicare Cost Reporting.
An understanding of insurance carrier benchmarking, discount reporting, per-member per-month reporting.
Experience with Hadoop, Impala, Hive, Tableau or Redshift.
Advanced Microsoft Excel including VBA.
