Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

Provides a courteous and pleasant service to arriving and departing guests, transporting luggage, ensuring a fun-filled, exciting and entertaining environment where the flawless delivery and execution of four-star service is paramount.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS :

• Transports baggage of arriving guests from the Bell Desk to their accommodations.
• Explains accommodation appointments and equipment to guests using customer skills and personalized service.
• Informs guests of all hotel facilities and their location and offers to be of further assistance upon request.
• Assists departing guests with their luggage and other departure details.
• Maintains the cleanliness of Front Desk/Bell Services area to uphold Harrah's/Harveys "Spotless" standards.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous guest service experience preferred

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Literate and fluent in English
• Excellent guests service skills
• Ability to handle difficult or stressful situations with tact and diplomacy
• Ability to demonstrate a pleasant and enthusiastic demeanor at all times.
• Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
• Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.
• Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures

PHYSICAL, MENTAL and ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

• Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time (4 hours).
• Able to lift/carry/transport large and/or heavy items weighing up to 75 lbs
• Visual and auditory range must include immediate environment.
• Mobility to move about the property
• Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.
• Must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, and kneel.

Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy

environment, and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment.
