Position:           Production Utility Specialist

Location:         Charlotte, NC

Hours:               1st Shift

Pay:                   $17.00/Hr

Summary:         The primary role of the Production Utility Specialist is to act as a production floater between departments (based on business needs). Primary job responsibilities will fall within the Shipping function, but employees may also perform Inventory, Motor/Gearbox Assembly Support, and general labor functions associated with facility expansions. 

Description: 

• Assist with duties related to production, production expansion, and interdepartmental production flow.




• Assist with general shipping duties including the removal of tape, preparation of units & weighing/packing a variety of products.




• Prepare SAP Shipments & assist in the paint/prep area.




• Assist in the unloading of incoming parts and product placement within Inventory.




• Assist in the pulling of parts from inventory in preparation of Gearbox and/or Motor Assembly.




• Other various shop-floater duties revolving around production expansion or production fulfillment.




• Must be able to use a stand-up forklift

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or relevant experience




• 1-2 years production experience




• Stand-up Forklift experience required




• Ability to read/write and have basic math skills




• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
