Minimal Qualifications:
* Master's degree in human resources or closely related filed plus three (3) years of full-time, directly-related work experience in Talent Acquisition environment, OR

* Bachelor's degree in human resources or closely related filed plus five (5) years of full-time, directly-related work experience in Talent Acquisition environment.

Preferred qualifications:

Preference will be given to individuals who possess:
* Master's degree

* HR Certification (I.E. SPHR/PHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP)

* Experience working in a leadership position in talent acquisition

* Experience with HR Technology tools including applicant tracking systems, HRIS, and social media

* Proven experience developing and leading a talent acquisition staff

* Experience developing candidate pipelines and creating proactive recruitment processes

* Proven internal consulting skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external constituents

* Prior experience working in a higher education environment

Work Hours
Normally scheduled Monday through Friday; however, may be required to work other shifts to include evenings and/or weekends. Schedule subject to change based upon department needs.




Compensation
Salary is commensurate with knowledge, skills, and experience

Class Summary
In collaboration with the Chief Human Resources Officer, this administrator position is responsible for supporting the management, organization, and implementation of strategic HR management initiatives including building a talent pipeline for current and future job opening.

Typical Essential Duties
1. Responsible for directing the overall operations and staff of the Talent Acquisition department.
2. Leading all sourcing strategies; oversees the recruitment processes, from sourcing to hiring. Leads and directs the screening of applicants against minimum requirements for staff, administrator, and faculty positions.
3. Seeks and manages collaborative efforts with business and industry, community agencies, community organizations, educational institutions, internal departments, and/or other interested parties.
4. Establishes, maintains, and enhances professional community relationships with external recruiting sources.
5. Managing our external partnerships with colleges job boards and HR software.
6. Prepares, reviews, interprets, and analyzes a variety of complex and multi-faceted information, data, forms, schedules, calendars, surveys, reports, and other communications; makes recommendations based on findings; conducts research, needs assessment, and academic program development activities.
7. Coordinates activities in order to facilitate the maximum effectiveness and utilization of academic development and/or program resources.
8. Institutes best practices in talent acquisition activities and innovates the talent acquisition processes in order to leverage the strategic advantages of inclusion and diversity for the institution.
9. Manages budget and grants to ensure compliance with district policies, regulations, and procedures.
10.Responsible for reviewing programs, suggesting modifications, and ensuring achievement of competitive market position and other goals identified by the organization related to Talent Acquisition.
11. Supervises staff, to include: prioritizing and assigning work; conducting performance evaluations; ensuring staff are trained; ensuring that employees follow policies and procedures; maintaining a healthy and safe working environment.
12. Assists in developing strategy, processes, and procedures for assigned programs, departments, or functional areas; and manages and participates in directing the implementation of internal operations for academic development programs, which includes: planning, coordinating, administering, and evaluating programs, projects, processes, procedures, systems, standards, and/or service offerings; ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws, regulations, codes, and/or standards; coordinating activities between multiple service areas; and working to integrate and coordinate service areas.
