Job Description:

As the Talent & Performance Management global leader for Expedia Group, you will craft and implement the strategy and products to help drive the Expedia Group talent agenda. Your overall goal will be to enable short-term and long-term strategic objectives by developing and retaining the best talent that will develop and empower our organization, its customers and will contribute to Expedia Group's overall success.

Your Talent Management focus will be related to talent management, performance management, employee engagement and succession planning - with early focus on establishing consistent, Expedia Group enterprise-wide expectations for leadership and management.

What you'll do:

  • Provide thought leadership and actively seek opportunities to design, develop and deploy enterprise-wide talent management practices, processes and tools in support of performance management, talent reviews, competency models, feedback/assessment, career management, etc
  • Build and lead an enterprise-wide talent and succession planning process to ensure a consistent bench of talent is in place for senior leadership and other priority areas across Expedia Group
  • Lead with a user-centered design perspective with the ability to problem solve from a product mindset by building solutions from an agile methodology
  • Develop and build enterprise consensus around the creation, delivery and evaluation of strategies & tools related to developing leaders, managers, key talent & other talent pools
  • Contribute to a culture where learning, coaching and delivering consistent feedback lead to positive impact and results. Architect and drive an ongoing "talent dialogue" with leaders including the processes and how to do this in conversations
  • Create the space for our Talent Management approach to be the vanguard for Inclusion, Diversity and Social Mobility

Who you are:

  • A true Talent thought leader energized by innovation and challenges assumptions and norms
  • A deep subject matter expert and leader in the areas of talent, leadership and culture and have been using talent metrics to create talent planning programs that drive business outcomes
  • Experienced leveraging contemporary talent management frameworks, practices and tools, in addition to using innovative learning models and technologies
  • Demonstrated experience in outstanding, business-focused HR functions and had success applying your expertise to generate consensus and trust at senior levels to provide effective counsel and influence decision-making
  • A strategic business partner: you can comprehensively understand the business strategy and connect it to a talent strategy and future talent needs
  • You are an exceptionally strong operator on a global fast-paced scale, across globally dispersed teams, using technology and change management to continuously optimize efficiencies and push the boundaries of what is possible
