Sr. Warehouse Supervisor at Medline Industries, Inc. in Tracy, California

Job Description:

Assist branch leadership with the overall supervision andworkflow of the building with the end goal of accuracy of inventory, on-timeorder processing and accurate delivery of product to the customer.

• Analyze and manage the daily labor needs andidentify areas of efficiency within staffing and/or work volume. Redirectresources as necessary around the building to meet the needs of the customer.


• Review scheduling completed by supervisors toensure coverage at all times as well as balance of work hours to enableconsistent flow of work out if the building. Direct appropriate staff(maintenance, shipping, receiving, etc) to resolve issues as they arise.


• Develop, recommend, and implement alternativework around strategies when issues arise impacting one or more areas of thelocation.


• Monitor all outbound activities at the locationand make adjustments as required.


• Work with customer service to resolve warehouserelated issues.


• Coach, train and mentor team members in the areaof productivity, quality, safety and Medline Core Values.

Education

• High school diploma

• 3 years supervisory experience

• Experience with and knowledge of WMS


• Willingness to work weekends and/or non-standardhours

Education

• Bachelor's degree preferred.

• Experience in conveyor and/or other automateddistribution/warehousing technologies.


• Experience in managing workflow of largeoperations.
