Principal Technology Architect at Infosys Limited in Northridge, California

Job Description:

Infosys is seeking AWS Solutions Architect. This position's primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise for the team. The chosen candidate will assist in the technical design of large business systems; builds applications, interfaces between applications, understands data security, retention, and recovery. The role holder should be able to research on technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions & should contribute to technology-specific best practices & standards; contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including, reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability and scalability; contributes expertise on significant application components, program languages, databases, operating systems, etc., and guides/mentors the team during the build and test phases.

Required Qualifications:
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance Northridge California or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 13+ years of Information Technology experience
• Very strong in AWS. Able to solution based on the changing needs (eg shifting from RedShift to Snowflake)
• Very strong in Snowflake design/data modeling, problem identification and solving, SQL coding
• Strong in SQL Server architecture along with SQL Coding
• Have complete understanding on AWS setup, role defining
• Understand the complete architecture of E2E data flow (starting from the source systems till creating the master data in SNF
• Able to guide (if required do the coding) in E2E flow (Like Lambda functions, IICS pipes, understanding the data mismatches, S3 to SNF pipes etc)
• Have authoritative communication skills to communicate with the development engineers, architects and Stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:
• Good Communication and Analytical skills
• Able to Articulate the problems and present in a forums/meetings in presence of Senior Leadership Team (SLT)
• Lead the new technology initiatives (eg DBT, Enterprise Data Catolog etc), solutioning, problem solving
• Experience in Healthcare/Lifescience/Insurance will be added advantage.

The job entails an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
