Purchasing Advisor at Kforce Inc in Round Rock, Texas

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce is seeking a full-time Purchasing Advisor to remotely support our enterprise technology client based in Austin, TX.

Essential Functions:

• Purchasing Advisor plans and releases purchase orders to secure materials and services on an "as needed" basis; Identifies primary and secondary source suppliers for materials and services


• Submits Request for Quote (RFQ) and analyzes responses on Total Cost of Ownership basis


• Evaluates (price, on-time delivery, quality, lead-time, TAM) and prepares feedback


• Develops and administers purchasing improvement programs


• Purchasing Advisor may monitor factory level execution according to allocations


• May be responsible for supply chain management for integrated assemblies


• Resolves receiving and invoice discrepancies and manages applicable metrics within the job scope


• Maintains accuracy of procurement database and material return to suppliers on a timely basis (where applicable)

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• As a Purchasing Advisor, you will be dealing with third party licenses software/hardware


• Helping managing orders that come through salesforce, assisting with finding solutions


• Communicate with business owner and vendors, create PO


• Software ordering

• Cisco


• Software/Hardware experience


• Experience with Inventory
