You will serve as the subject matter expert and have responsibility for definition, analysis, planning and implementation for the conversion of all data and investments related to defined retirement contribution plans. You will assist with testing for system upgrades and enhancement projects, plan restructures or mergers, plan level or cross-period plan adjustments.
You will assist with plan de-conversions, where a client is moving their business to another recordkeeping institution. You will ensure all assets are liquidated or delivered, based on direction from the client and successor trustee. You will enforce agreed-upon timelines and hold all project participants accountable for respective deliverables. You will assist with the operational process of fund mapping and additions for client accounts, including initiating extremely large mutual fund trades and maintaining responsibility for participant statement processes. You will serve in a lead role directing work flow and performing quality control reviews to other RPS Support personnel within the department.
You can expect to handle the record processing and cash inflow for contributions and distributions. You will cross train, share knowledge, and work closely with team members to solve complex issues. You will provide information for perspective clients, focus on operational tasks and customer service, and be the "technical go-to" for your team. This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in MIS or Finance and 7+ years of directly related experience in employee benefits with a minimum of 4 or more years of experience in plan administration or equivalent combination of education and experience.
