About This Position:
This role will act as business manager to the Global Head of Internal Audit
Role Summary:
Evaluates business needs, cost drivers, and data in order to create standard and timely operational and financial models for business unit leadership, which supports annual planning process, programs/projects, and other business activities. Support for planning activities includes recruitment/workforce plans, budget and technology prioritization for enhancements, and other technical needs to support the business unit.
Identifies opportunities to improve existing processes, data flows, or allocations based upon changing business needs by proactively consulting with business lead partners.
Provides in-depth data analyses in order to respond to or make recommendations that enhance reporting or information flow supporting changing business and information needs of senior management.
Provides support and develops solutions to address complex ad hoc business requests. Tracks issue resolution to inform policies and procedures or to increase the rate and efficiency with which issues are resolved.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities will include:
Planning team meetings
General project management
Reviews of audits for quality and completeness
Scheduling annual training for IA team
Compiling Board decks and other executive reporting
Assist with development and rollout of data analytics program
Management of audit board tool to update enhancements working with vendor
Document key changes needed for audit standards/procedures
Facilitate weekly Audit Roundup message
Plan and coordinate DE&I/ Team building events
Manage rotational associates
Maintain and develop relationships with vendors (Gartner) / Audit Board
Track budget metrics
Attend Lead Team meetings and special projects meetings
Findings and Reports review
Assist with quality assessment reviews of audit reports
Partner with Head of Audit on Strategic Plan work
Coordinate and facilitate monthly Audit Board Corrective Action Plan Reports
Assist with Quarterly Business Reviews
Typical Qualifications:
BS degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven project management experience with a business perspective and strong process orientation with a history of delivering results
Ability to organize and prioritize work with minimal guidance
Ability to manage time and shifting priorities effectively while in a challenging operating environment, and under minimal guidance
Strong analytical skills with keen instinct on how to gather meaningful data and synthesize it to represent a story
Experience producing and delivering executive level presentations
Strong Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint skills
Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
Strong written and verbal communications skills
