This position will be responsible for developing and executing the offer strategy for US Power Systems Offers in their portfolio. Offer leaders act like business owners for their portfolio and embrace an entrepreneurial mindset challenging the way we do business while preserving the core business that has been developed over 100 years of leadership in electrical solutions.
As of 12/20/21 this is a full-time REMOTE role which will be a focused scope to provide commitment for selected candidate. Lower complexity and smaller portfolio from a revenue scope but still critical to the overall execution of the Power Systems portfolio.
Manage Existing Product Line for the Country
Monitor, track, and analyze the market share, product line profitability, & specific segment and geographic growth plans
Key to this role is understanding the value proposition, SWOT, and providing clear direction on where we deserve to win and where efforts should be focused by application & feature promotion
Understand portfolio revenue, orders, and margin and levers to affect each
Gather and interpret competitive market intelligence to exploit areas of opportunity to provide solutions that favor the Schneider Electric Portfolio
Conduct periodic market share reviews & talk to share movement causes & appropriate reaction
Key point of contact for the national sales force and other sales & specifier functions to troubleshoot, promote the portfolio, and to gather customer feedback
Partner closely with North America Hub (R&D) & global teams to drive strategic direction of portfolio
Pricing adjustments and direction to Price team - by offer and segment at country level
Establish new ways to engage customers digitally via software tools as well as SEO / SEM
Mid-long term US offer strategy including investment, divestment, JV/partnerships with respect to this product line
Monitor industry trends and keep a pulse on the competitive landscape
Skills and Requirements:
Clearly create & articulate the alignment between product value propositions & customer priorities
Ability to present to sales, customers, and internal stakeholders & adjust style accordingly
Ability to comprehend multiple viewpoints and creatively drive them to an agreed solution
Engineering or Technical background (Masters a plus)
10-25% travel - Must be able to attend in person trade shows and customer events (4-6x per year total)
Product Management & Marketing experience and expertise
Strong knowledge of key NEMA offers
Experience in the power distribution and/or energy management industry

A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering or related field
