Job Description:

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Regional Vice President of Operations has become available with a leading single-specialty ambulatory surgery center management group located in the New York Metro region!

This single-specialty management group is focused in gastroenterology and has recently celebrated more than two decades of successful business. The established New York Metro Market includes a variety of private practice offices, ambulatory surgery centers, and office-based surgery centers throughout the Metro New York regions. The Vice President of Operations will have the exciting opportunity to work with a number of existing centers throughout the New York regions and provide hands-on management and support for the daily center operations.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Vice President will lead the operations of multiple ambulatory surgery center locations; totaling roughly 10 centers. The Vice President will lead the strategic planning, partner and vendor relations, staff development, clinical support, performance improvement, budget preparation, and ongoing fiscal success of the regional market. The Vice President must also maintain general understanding of all accrediting agency standards such as AAAHC, JCAHO, AAAFS, OSHA, and Medicare regulations. The Vice President must be willing to travel throughout New York up to 80% of the time, some overnight travel may be required.

The ideal candidate for this position is an advanced healthcare operational leader who brings extensive high-level For-Profit experience managing multiple ambulatory surgery center locations. The Vice President must be a proven leader in business operations and managing healthcare facilities, must have the ability to build teams and promote professional growth, hands-on experience in developing and managing budgets, and must be willing to bring high-energy and enthusiasm to continuing the growth of the organization.
