Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant in Silver Spring, MD.

Duties Include:

• Senior Accountant will be responsible for reviewing account reconciliations and analysis


• Preparing more complex account reconciliations


• Performing research to comply with departmental monthly performance requests


• Collecting and analyzing data to report on the organizational progress relative to established targets


• As a Senior Accountant, you will be ensuring timely identification and compliance with evolving accounting guidance


• Reviewing GL entries required to record the activities of the various business units


• Assisting with the monthly financial close process

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree Accounting or Finance


• 3 years of relevant experience
