Visually inspect production pieces such as, but not limited to, torque tubes, piston housings, and carbon discs for surface/structural imperfections including voids and cracks. Visually compare production pieces to blueprints and engineering change letters to check for variances. Visually check wheels for proper roundness using a runout machine. Ensure that required paperwork is correct (indicating completion of all prior operations) and is included with each production piece. Etch part tracking and/or serial numbers on production pieces as necessary. Stamp approval on production pieces upon completion of inspection. Update all departmental records that track production pieces by serial number. Additional duties include visually inspecting measuring gages such as, but not limited to, micrometers, calipers, and plug gages, in different production cells to verify presence of calibration certification. Demonstrate safe work habits. Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner. As a team member, demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems leading to continual process improvements and effectiveness of the team.

YOU MUST HAVE
· High School Diploma
· 1+ years of assembly experience
· 1+ years of supply chain experience
· 1+ years of experience in manufacturing environment
· 1+ years of experience reading and understanding blueprints and measuring gages
· Must be a US Citizen due to ITAR restrictions
