Role description:

Arcadis is currently searching for a Civil Engineer with a background in Geotechnical Engineering. You will be responsible for providing technical and task management support to remediation projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with geotechnical engineering including slope stability analysis, shoring design, and bulkhead design as well as experience with geotechnical software such as Slope/W, Plaxis, Group, LPile, SoilVision, DeepEx, and/or Holebase..The position can be in Seattle, WA or Portland, OR, and will support projects across the United States.

      Role accountabilities:

      • Coordinating with local and nationwide teams for project delivery.
      • Preparation of design calculations and drawings.
      • Provide support for report writing, permitting, and cost estimating support.
      • Coordination of work with engineers of other disciplines.
      • Follow project and client quality control measures.
      • This position encompasses both office work (technical design, task management, data analysis, report preparation, etc.) as well as field work (estimated to be up to 50%).
