This position requires an active DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

This Data Engineer will work as part of a team of data scientists, data engineers, and data analysts to support advanced analytics projects for various Army customers. Responsibilities include:

Engage technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand business processes, analytical requirements, key data elements, etc.
• Support Agile project management over data activities.


• Wrangle data and build data transformation pipelines to create curated datasets using defined business logic.


• Execute techniques to integrate, consolidate, and structure data for analytical use.

Travel: Minimal, less than 10%

Qualifications

Required:

• 
  DoD Secret clearance required. Must have, at a minimum, an active Interim Secret Clearance.


• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.


• 4+ years of related work experience.


• Experience with big data ETL and big data technologies.


• Superior communication skills, both oral and written.

Desired:

• Graduate degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.


• Experience working with Pyspark


• Experience with Palantir's Foundry platform.


• Experience with US Army Logistics data.
