Job Description:

PrairieFire Coffee is growing again! We are looking for a Bench Technician to join our incredible team at our roasting facility. Headquartered in Wichita, KS, PrairieFire Coffee Roasters provides state of the art equipment and world class service to customers across the Midwest. At PrairieFire Coffee we source, roast, package and deliver our gourmet coffee directly to the consumer.     

As part of our Service Department, the Bench Technician has a major impact on our customers and the relationships we maintain with them. The right person will be a mechanically inclined, safety-conscious individual with basic understanding in the principles of equipment repair to effectively maintain, repair and re-program assorted coffee and tea equipment. This position is starting at $15 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair of beverage (coffee and tea) equipment


• Preventive maintenance of brewing machines and other equipment


• Maintain a clean and organized service area

Qualifications

• Mechanical/technical skills required; electrical experience highly desired


• Self-motivated and the ability to work independently


• Team player with exceptional customer service skills


• Must be able to lift/ push/ pull 50 lbs. unassisted
