Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment including CNC Swiss Style Lathes, and to support the achievement of the business goals.
Major Responsibilities of the Position:
Establish and perform a preventive maintenance program for production equipment that is in compliance with our quality system.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
Maintain spare part inventories to ensure a high service level
Maintain and calibrate equipment as needed
Assist in IQ, OQ, and machine qualifications as needed
As assigned by Management.
Minimum 10 years of Maintenance experience in a high tech environment that includes CNC machine equipment
Basic knowledge of ISO/GMP regulations and work environment or other regulated industry
Machining experience a plus
Required Knowledge and Skills:
High-level mechanical aptitude
Electrical skills including wiring, motors, and electronic
Hydraulic and pneumatic systems installation and troubleshooting skills
Computer and microprocessor experience, PLC, and ladder logic a plus
Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and machinery including CNC machines
Organizational skills sufficient for OSHA and quality systems compliance
Work Environment and Physical Demands General office environment and manufacturing environment. May be exposed to hazards associated with manufacturing equipment and tools. Must be able to frequently lift 50 lbs. without restriction.. Requires manual dexterity and ability to manipulate small objects
