Summary

We are seeking a strategic Director Human Resources who will partner with our global manufacturing business leaders to develop and lead the talent strategy that aligns with the team's business priorities. The Director HR will have a deep expertise in frontline talent dynamics and experience developing process and programs to provide career growth and build a pipeline and succession plan for future leaders. This leader will also play the critical role of coach and advisor to VP Global Manufacturing regarding structure, people and strategy. The Director HR will report to the Senior Director HR.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Strategic HR Business Partner to the global VP manufacturing and manufacturing leadership team
  • Lead team of 7-8 HR generalist and managers across the US
  • Partner globally with HR leaders to develop talent with consistent expectations and processes
  • Develop short and long term manufacturing workforce plan & diverse talent strategy
  • Partner with Talent Management team to develop consistent, automated on-boarding & training experience specific to frontline employees
  • Identify and diagnose talent and organizational issues, and partner with leaders to implement solutions
  • Lead process to identify high potential talent and ensure their continued development and advancement
  • Partner with VP Manufacturing to ensure succession plans are in place for all critical roles
  • Serve as advisor and coach to direct reports & business leaders around people management and development
  • Ensure employee concerns are investigated with appropriate outcomes and follow-up
  • Assess culture and develop action plans to ensure a positive, engaging, and supportive workplace
  • Leverage corporate functions to build tools and expertise across teams supported


SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field or 5+ years HR Management strategic experience preferred
  • Experience: A minimum of 8 years' Human Resources Generalist and Leadership experience in frontline environment
  • Other Requirements: Ability to lead others with e xcellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage with all levels of the organization and ability to develop and maintain strong, effective internal customer/business partner relationships; sense of urgency and ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-energy environment; ability to think strategically and translate concepts into actionable items; proven ability to influence decision making; proven people leader with disposition to coach and develop and comfortable working in ambiguous business situations
