Position Summary:


Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for acting as facilitator of inter-departmental collaboration around subject areas that support corporate initiatives.  The Project Manager will lead implementation, planning of milestones, and completion of projects that enable our business to grow both organically and inorganically. 


 


Primary areas of focus to include but not limited to mergers & acquisitions, continuous improvement & metric tracking, analyzing data & summarizing key findings from internal stakeholders. The Project Manager is also expected to act as collaborator and connector of ideas, resources and individuals specific to project directives.


 



Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 



  • Finds purpose in helping people, being part of a team, and making their work lives easier

  • Possess a curious nature, open mindset and collaborative approach to interpersonal communication and the pursuit of work

  • Be an ongoing learner while fostering that attitude and teaching of others daily

  • Embody our team’s cultural principles

  • Define & communicate project scope, determine action items and metrics that support project directives

  • Present project statuses to management and executive teams

  • Digests various business analytical data and present findings in a professional and relevant manner to improve the decision-making and process efficiency

  • Act as the voice of the internal customer to understand and relay feedback from the perspective of others across the departments, sharing knowledge of established process & procedures, elevating challenges, and submitting recommendations for new projects focused on continuous improvement

  • Research, collect and analyze relevant data around high-level subject matter with little direction


 



Qualifications:



Education and/or Experience: 



  • Bachelor's degree (B.A or B.S.) from a 4-year college or University

  • 5+ years' in a Project Manager role; or

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and with little supervision

  • Demonstrates good time management skills

  • Possess strong planning, organizational and execution skills

  • Ability to set goals and meet deadlines

  • Possesses effective communication and active listening skills

  • Demonstrates ownership of assigned responsibilities and ability to get the job done correctly and in a timely manner

  • Ability to establish strong working relationships with co-workers and management

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

  • Excel and analytical skills



 



Travel:
 10%



 



Location: Primarily remote in Southern California, with 20% time on-site
